With Bhumi · North Beach
Sound healing
Join Bhumi for gentle yoga, breathing and the soothing sounds of bowls, chimes and drums, which guide the body and mind into deep states of relaxation. Friday evenings, roughly once a month, in North Beach.
About the sessions
What is a sound healing session?
Each session begins with gentle yoga and mindful breathing to settle the body, followed by deep relaxation as Bhumi plays singing bowls, chimes and drums around the room.
Harmonic tones calm the nervous system, slow brain waves and activate the vagus nerve, shifting the body from “fight or flight” and into the healing state.
- Suitable for all levels of experience — no prior yoga experience is needed.
- Most of the session is spent lying down, comfortably supported.
- Friday evenings, usually 6:30–8pm.
