The year is coming to an end and we wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year. Christmas is often stressful time of year for many people, so be kind to yourself.
We will finish term 4 on Thursday the 17th of December
and then break over Christmas. We will run 2 weeks of holiday classes starting on the 11th of January which will then follow into term 1.
Term 1 2021: Monday the 25th of January through to Thursday the 1st of April (10 weeks).

Holiday Classes in January 2021
Holiday classes run for 2 weeks. All classes will be live-streamed on zoom, so if you are away you may be able to participate that way.
Cost is $19 per class or $32 if you want to pay for both. Zoom only $26 for 2 weeks.
If you are able to pay online it would be appreciated, but cash at class is fine if you prefer.
There is no need to book, you can just turn up.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course
8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Course beginning Sunday the 7th of February 2021

One-day retreat on the 6th of March at the Star Swamp Reserve in North Beach

Mindfulness focuses on the very fabric of our lives and the ways we navigate the natural challenges that life provides. With this practice of awareness we can all choose wiser ways of being that fundamentally bring greater joy and ease, not only to our lives, but for all the people around life.
The course is based on the popular Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) model developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn Ph.D in 1979. Research has proven that students that undergo this course, experience greater joy and enthusiasm for life and skills in dealing with issues that may arise.
What does the course involve?
· 2.5 hours class once a week for eight weeks plus one full day retreat on a Saturday.
· Exploration of habitual patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviours. With practice we can change our relationship to them from habitual reactivity to responding with clarity.
· Brief lectures and discussions in groups and individuals.
· Mindfulness meditation training, gentle yoga movement and body awareness training.
· Individual feedback and support.
· Audio tracks and course book included.
· Your commitment to a daily practice so that you can know for yourself the power of mindfulness.
