Coronavirus Management Plan

The current coronavirus outbreak is concerning and uncertain. Even though the outbreak poses minimal risk currently in Perth, the situation could change in the future. So, we will be monitoring the situation closely and advising students accordingly on how we will manage student safety in our yoga classes.

For now, the following actions are advised:

As a precaution, we are asking that anyone who has flu like symptoms to avoid coming to class until they are recovered.  This is the same advice we give informally every flu season.  If you have recently travelled overseas, you may meet the criteria for quarantine so please check the link below for more information about affected countries and advice.

At each of the venues we hold classes at there is access to soap and water to wash your hands.

As per health department guidelines, everyone should practise good hygiene to protect against infections. Good hygiene includes:

  • washing your hands often with soap and water
  • using a tissue or elbow to cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze
  • avoiding close contact with others, such as touching

Also, keep your immune system strong by maintaining a healthy lifestyle : plenty of fruit and vegetables, exercise and relaxation.
